Wave Island

The 1st aquatic theme park in France !

Avignon

Avignon owes its origin to the Rocher des Doms, a natural refuge above the Rhône. “City of the River” according to some, “City of violent wind” according to others, it occupies a strategic position.

Already in the 12th century, it was an important city thanks, in particular, to the Pont d'Avignon which allows the crossing of the Rhône. With the arrival of the Popes in the 14th century, it became a second Rome. Visits are possible by small tourist train departing from Place du Palais, from March 15 to October 15. Cathedrals, museums, Palais des Papes (a visit of approximately 4 hours), the Place de l'Horloge, its ramparts, restaurants... Avignon has no shortage of riches to discover...

The Alpilles Massif

The Beautiful of Provence

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

Also located in the heart of the Alpilles, Saint-Rémy is one of the must-sees of Provence.

You will be seduced by its green and subtly scented valleys. The beauty of the landscapes and the quality of its light inspired many artists such as Van Gogh, who painted more than 150 canvases in its surrounding countryside (The mountain, The poppies, The wheat fields, The olive trees and the cypresses. ..).

Built on one of the oldest sites in Europe, you will discover the remains of the Comptoir de Glanum founded in the 3rd century BC, then remodeled by the Romans under Julius Caesar.

Montmirail lace

Meet at the Gigondas tourist office.

It is a lace pageantry, sculpted by erosion that the Montmirail massif overlooks at an altitude of 750m, the Provence of the Popes. Its hills with Mediterranean vegetation are crowned with limestone ridges. Marked trails invite you to travel on foot or by mountain bike, in colors and aromas, among holm oaks, white oaks, Aleppo pines, vineyards and aromatic plants. The peaks and their cliffs are a delight for climbing enthusiasts. In the surrounding valley, you will find the vineyards of the largest Côtes-du-Rhône, Suzette, Beaumes-de-Venise, Vacqueyras, Gigondas...

Gard's Bridge

The prestigious aqueduct, built from 40 to 60 AD, is located at the mouth of the Gardon gorges. The magic of the place is based on the strength of the elements present: the monument, the limestone of the rock massifs, the water and the Mediterranean vegetation. Mont Ventoux

At the bare summit of this mythical mountain of Mont Ventoux, you will find yourself at an altitude of 1912 meters between the Alpine world and the Mediterranean world. From there, you will enjoy an admirable view of the Rhône valley, the Provençal Baronnies and the Vaucluse plateau, reputed to constitute one of the largest panoramas in Europe.

Mont-Ventoux is a remarkable natural site, classified as a “Biosphere Reserve” by UNESCO. Its largely preserved nature allows you to discover exceptional fauna and flora: birds, birds of prey, deer, roe deer, chamois, mouflons, wild boars and wolves, after their successful reintroduction in the Alps, can be observed by enthusiasts.
